As I wandered through the bustling streets of Kinshasa and explored the lush Congolese wilderness, I was struck by the resilience and warmth of the DRC's people, despite the challenges they face, and left with a deep appreciation for this often misunderstood but vibrant country.

Despite its turbulent past and many challenges, the Democratic Republic of the Congo is a country with incredible natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and warm-hearted people who have learned to persevere and thrive in the face of adversity.
